A highlight for me this year was creating a brand identity for a new record label based on the Gold Coast. I was contacted at the beginning of the year by the owner who had little direction with the identity he was trying to create but provided key concepts like ‘bright, clean and fresh’. Through an honest and open line of communication I was able to create a visual understanding of his relationship with community, music and style. I have now finalised all assets including logos, banners, social media tiles, event posters, record artwork and covers and have received great feedback from stakeholders. The first release is now being requested by international sellers and will be on the market shortly.
